Modified Sports Coach

➔ ORIENTATION COURSE – 6 hours
➔ This is your start to a career on the court. Trainees/Apprentices start with modified sports programs and fundamental motor skills and progress to modified tennis skills and games. Trainees learn the basic function and mechanics of all strokes and movement patterns.
➔ SUBJECTS AND TOPICS EXAMPLES:
➔ Care and Safety, Basic Ball Feeding Techniques, Leadership Values, Introduction to group Management, Communication Techniques, Games, Drills and Activities, Preparation and lesson Plans, Goal Setting
➔ The purpose of the Certificate I qualification type is to qualify individuals with basic functional knowledge and skills to undertake work, further learning and community involvement.
