Testimonials

  • I just want to thank you for the opportunity to be assessed for a grading as a Level 1 tennis coach through your course. I found the course to be easy to follow, and instructions and handouts clear and related to what I wanted to learn. The short 3 days course did not interfere with my other commitments, and time allowed to complete the written assessment was adequate. Having the indemnity insurance cover incorporated into the membership certainly makes things easier.Well done and good luck with your future programs.

  • I love tennis, I always wanted to be a good tennis coach since I was a child, so I sought help from the best Tennis Coach Association in the world to achieve my dream – the AATC. In October 2011, I took the Level 1 course through the AATC. I have learnt a lot of tennis knowledge, stroke techniques, communication and management skills, and also first aid. I have learnt what a good coach should have and be. During the course, the presenters helped and improved all aspects of our personal skills with very detailed explanations. During the examination, teaching different ages was also a very good experience. I remembered the most is on my last day. I made a teaching/lesson plan, but there were unexpected changes so I had to come up with something else immediately. Fortunately after the few days of the training course, I learnt a lot about contingency plans so that I can immediately change my teaching plan to suit different students and conditions. To me, AATC is not only an International Tennis Coaches Association, it is more like a big family. All members are here help each other and share their own experiences. I am glad that I have chosen AATC, the best coaches association; I am now on my way to my dream.

  • I am very pleased to provide a written testimonial for the AATC following my recent participation in the Level 1 Coaches course in Melbourne. Not having officially coached any sport before I was apprehensive about being put through an intensive three-day training program. My nerves were settled by being led through a thoroughly professional and well-run program of coaching instruction and tennis insights. The leadership of coaching instructors Lynton Joseph and Connie Leone was instrumental in my successful passage through the program and into part-time coaching. A well-weighted blend of on-court instruction and assessment and off-court theory examination provided me with a wide range of learning from both practice and research. I commend the AATC Level 1 program to all looking to take their early steps into tennis coaching. I found the course very enjoyable and its affordability & accessibility suited me down to the ground. I am now well-equipped to enter the industry as a coach and look forward to many sessions on the court teaching players of all ages and abilities.
