RPL means Recognized Prior Learning. The AATC recognizes the important life skills and life experience plays in the ability to deliver high-quality holistic training. In line with our competency-based training courses, we understand the journey you have been on. As a result, we will streamline the assessment process for you in order to obtain your AATC Qualification and the benefits that come with it.  Recognition of Prior Learning is an assessment process that involves the assessment of a students’ relevant prior learning which includes formal, informal, and non-formal learning to determine credits towards the students’ final credit score. Credits reduce the amount of learning required to attain the qualification.

Typically, our assessors would;

⇥ collate the provided evidence (the onus is on the student to supply)

⇥ All evidence provided must be valid, authentic, and current

⇥ meet with the student and discuss what evidence would assist

⇥ assess using the current methods and resources

⇥ recording the assessment and providing feedback to the student

⇥ All current assessors hold a minimum Cert IV in Workplace and Training Assessment
