An IT marketing professional, passion & love for sports drove Jay to enter the field of sports in 2002, eventually leading to the founding of  TSG, one of India’s first private grass root sports firms.

Jay, also a certified Yoga teacher, believes that  “sports in the country does not suffer due to lack of places or funds only but essentially lack of ideas and initiatives from people”. He has worked since 2002, to promote sports &  promote sporting communities and infrastructure at the local level.

Under his leadership, TSG‘s plan was selected amongst the Top 40 (among 16,000+)  business ideas across India at the Economic  Times Power of Idea Contest 2010. This led to a training program at IIM (A) and a grant from the Dept. Of Science & Technology,  Govt of India.

He was recently inducted in the Karamveer  Global Fellowship Hall of Fame with a Karam  Veer Chakra bronze medal in recognition of his many years of service in the field of sports.
