Job Description: SENIOR COACH & ASSISTANT Coaches
OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Senior coach and assistant coaches to be a part of a Slamin Tennis and Fitness, operating in the Eastern Suburbs – Doncaster and surrounding suburbs. Position available immediately, to join a fun and supportive team of coaches.
We specialise in the program development of players of all abilities form kinder children to high performance players, ladies groups, Hot Shots, Teenagers, adults – effectively anyone who wants to learn the game. We have a large focus on groups and the friendship and social connections within these groups, so an outgoing personality is required.
This is a Permanent Employee role, accruing annual leave and sick leave benefits (personal leave). Our company has an equal opportunity for employment policy, and are extremely flexible to accommodate employees.)
Key Responsibilities:
– Expected to participate in all on court programs
– Travel between venues, (3-7mins apart) arrive early to set equipment up and greet students
– Actively promote and grow participation numbers plan every lesson with purpose and specific goals for student progressions
– Be confident coaching beginners, children, adults, private lessons, squads and students with a disability
Qualifications and Experience:
– Tennis Australia Coach Member (or equivalent) or willing to be one one
– Tennis Coaching experience is a MUST
– Formal qualifications will be favourably viewed, however we do appreciate not all amazing coaches have a formal qualification
– Fully vaccinated against Covid 19
Knowledge and Skills:
– Ability to identify new business opportunities as well as cultivate and maintain existing relationships
– Excellent communication and rapport building skills
– Excellent attention to detail
– Ability to manage and organise work and self in a systematic, accurate and timely manner

All coaches are permanent employees, accruing annual leave, sick leave, personal leave etc. remuneration is according to qualifications and experience as per the Sporting Organisations Award 2021.
